Description
Extremely rare Longines-Wittnauer “Butterfly” advertising display or retailers made in the 1950´s. The Display shows a watch box for presentation of a fine Longines-Wittnauer wristwatch, on the left side there is flower pot with butterflies surrrounding the flowers. The display is electric so the butterflies really “fly” and make fluttering sounds. The whole scene is protected by a plastic cover. Text on the cover: “Longines THE WORLD#S MOST HONORED WATCH //
10 World’s Fair Grand Prizes // 28 Gold Medals.”
The automaton has a 110 Volt 60 Hertz cable,
but can easily be plugged into a 10/220 V adapter.
Absolute museum piece.
