Description
Extremely rare and early LeCoultre Atmos II from the 1940s. This watch is one of the first with a nitrous oxide engine after the “Reutter era”. Here in a chrome-plated brass case. Typical for the early Atmos is the glass lintel and the balance with 8 motifs. Here very early number xxxxx. From the start of production at the end of 1939 (!), the Atmos II was so reliable that it basically remained unchanged until the development of the caliber 540 in 1982. The Atmos II certainly laid the foundation for the model’s great success. Condition as new.
