Description

A royal clock: The Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos V ROYALE from the 70ies in a massive brass gold color case with black lacquered sides, base and top. Typical engraved round silver dial with black roman numerals and fleur-de-lis. The flour-de-lis is a sign of the bourbons monastery in france (after 1589). There are three ROYALE model- series built with two different calibers. The first two series were made with a 526 caliber between 1969-1974 / 1978-1984 and the third series was made with a 540 caliber between 1984-1996. This is the early model from the first series with the 526 caliber, reference number 5817. Very good condition.
