Description
A very rare and interesting Jaeger- LeCoultre Atmos Reutter PX1 from the early 30ies.
The dial is signed “Black Starr & Frost Gorham”. Pendule Perpetuelle. This clock with the number 78 was made around 1933 and seems to be one of the first Reutter Atmos ever made. There is “1883 S 1933” engraved in the case, so maybe the retailer Black Starr sold this clock to somebody celebtraing his anniversary, Desite that there is are to signs: “Atmos Pendule Perpetuelle Patented 1-11-32. Distributed in USA by MOVADO” and “Distributed in USA by MOVADO”. Stunning. An absolute collector´s piece.
Estimated value: € 24,000.00
