Description
A fine LeCoultre POWERMATIC automatic men’s watch with power reserve indicator from the 1940s. Set in a solid 14-carat (0.585/000) yellow gold case. Automatic calibre 481 with spring-limited oscillating weight, known as a ‘hammer-type’ automatic movement. Movement featuring Geneva stripes, not yet fitted with shock protection. Power reserve indicator visible through a window beneath the ‘12’, with the last 10 hours shown in red. A very attractive watch.
