Jaeger – Music Box
Jaeger-LeCoultre
LeCoultre
Description
Early roll music box around 1840, probably made by LeCoultre / Swiss. Wooden case, veneer with inlays. Laquered (later). Typical long case, not much bigger then the play roller. One-piece roller crest with 101 Teeth, though 5 are broken off. The roller sits on a one-piece brass case and is being driven through a large chain which needs to be wound. Full working order, sorry we did not realize the tune.
Estimated value: € 1,500.00
