Bulova Accoutron Model 214 – Setting the Time

The Bulova Accutron 214, also known as the Spaceview, is a historic tuning-fork watch distinguished by its unique design, which lacks a crown on the side. The time is set using a fold-out tab on the back of the case.

Please follow these steps to set the time:

  • To do this, lift the crown. There is a small, fold-out tab (crown) on the back of the watch. Please open it.
  • Please set the time. Set the hands to the correct time by turning the crown accordingly.
  • The recommended time to perform this procedure is when the second hand reaches the 60 mark (12 o’clock position). This ensures accurate adjustment.
  • Please close the lugs by folding the hand-setting tool back into place. This will resume the watch’s operation.
